Terms and Conditions


General terms and conditions (“terms and conditions”) of online store have been set forth pursuant to Slovenia’s Consumer Protection Act, guidelines and recommendations provided by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and international e-commerce code of conduct.

By using the  website, users and buyers acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.


Online marketing and advertising is conducted by EVINO Ltd, Šmartinska 53, 1000 Ljubljana (“ EVINO or provider”).

EVINO is registered in the court register administered by the Kranj District Court under file Nr. 1/09011/00. EVINO is subjected for VAT (ID for VAT: SI53052021).


Provider undertakes to always provide the following information to its buyers:

  • identity of the company (i.e. name and registered office, Court registry file Nr.)
  • contact information which enables quick and efficient communication (e-mail, phone number)
  • essential characteristics of goods or services
  • availability of products (any product offered on the website is presumably available within a reasonable time)
  • terms and conditions of delivery of the product (manner, location and time frame of delivery)
  • all prices shall be transparent and unambiguously determined; additionally the provider shall elaborate whether taxes and shipping costs are included
  • method of payment and delivery
  • a withdrawal period within which the buyer may exercise the right of rescission of the contract and terms and conditions thereof; provider shall also disclose additional costs concerning the return of the products


The buyer is solely responsible for providing accuracy of all the data communicated by the buyer within the purchasing process. Provider shall not be held liable for any errors or omissions that may lie with the buyer regarding accuracy of the data communicated by the buyer.   

After completion of the purchase order, buyer shall be sent a message via buyer’s e-mail containing a purchase contract (receipt). Purchase contract (receipt) concluded is stored on provider’s server and permanently accessible to buyer in his user domain.

EVINO wine shop provides fast shipping to countries listed below. We send our products through DPD company and guarantee a certified packaging and therefore provide to our clients a secure and safe delivery.

EVINO provides sufficient insurance for our products in case of loss or damage incurred during transport. That said, we'll replace the damaged goods or refund your money. CONTACT

Please note that for delivery to a country which is not listed below, the buyer shall ensure and take sole responsibility that importing our product to the designated country of delivery, falls within all laws and regulations thereof. The buyer shall also be responsible to pay all local customs duties and taxes associated with the shipment.

Defective goods / Damaged shipping
In case of defective goods
  • they can be returned to Evino d.o.o. within 14 days from the delivery.
  • Shipping and packing charges for the return of the delivered parcel are to be paid by the customer.
  • The defective goods will be replaced and sent back or else refunded (in case they are sold out) at the expenses of Evino d.o.o.
In case of shipping damaged
If you receive parcels from Evino d.o.o. visibly damaged by courier,(packing broken or visibly stained by the leakage of wine) can do as follows: return the damaged parcel to the sender signing the dispatch note "With Reserve".

In cases where the product broken is out of stock, you will be contacted for a possible replacement. If you will not find in our catalogue no product in replacement, then Evino d.o.o. will return you the sums paid.
The shipping cost of the return and restitution will be borne entirely by our.
Return policy for defective wines

Defective wines are such wines that do not meet the producer’s quality standards. This comprises the following defects (non-exhaustive list): the wine is off or corked, the bottle leaks or the label has been destroyed during transport.  

Defective wines, if available, will be replaced without any extra cost for the customer. If not available, we will give you a full refund.

Please inform Evino d.o.o. per e-mail of the fact that one or more of the bottles you have received are defective. Please include in the e-mail: order number, delivery address and a description of the problem for every bottle/ product.
Than please send us the bottle back.

All bottles have to be 2/3 full when you return them and closed with the original cork. The bottles should be returned in the original packaging, which provides best protection against further damage. This is quite important since Evino d.o.o. will be able to ask the producer or perpetrator for replacement. 

As soon as we have received the wine, it will be evaluated and in case we deem it defective, we will straight away send you the same wine of the same vintage if available. If not available, we will offer you a full refund. 

This procedure is relatively uncomplicated and free of any additional charges for the customer.  

In case of a legal dispute, the bottles will remain in the possession of Evino d.o.o., where they can be evaluated by authorised experts. In this case, we will charge the client with the shipping costs.

Terms of Right to Cancel
  • the European regulation commonly known as the Right to Cancel states that this right may be exercised only by consumers excluding purchases made by retailers or by those who in any capacity purchase for resale to third parties.
  • shipping costs will be borne by the customer
  • On his arrival in our warehouse, the goods will be examined to assess possible damage or tampering (the integrity of the asset returns is an essential condition for exercising the Right to Cancel). We therefore recommend extreme caution in preparing the package, for example using the original packaging
  • to exercise that right yuou need to send us a communication within 14 days from the receipt of goods ordered and send the goods back within further 30 days
Return steps

Send an e-mail to containing the statement you want to exercise their Right of to Cancel, indicating all the data requested:

  • internal order number and order date
  • invoice number
  • products list subject of withdrawal
  • your IBAN for the bank-transfer

Then you have to wait a communication from our Customer Service, authorizing the return.
Upon receipt of such communication must return the goods within a further 15 days to:

Time for reimbursement
Evino d.o.o. will reimburse the customer within 14 working days from receipt of goods.
We reimbursement to Customer the value of the goods shown in the invoice. In the above amount does not include shipping costs. This is in accordance with Article. 5, paragraph 6, Legislative Decree No 185, 22/05/1999
