Originally from the Middle East, Kamut is a very ancient cereal. Ancestor of modern hard wheat, rediscovered by Robert Quinn, an American farmer who patented the brand to protect its authenticity. Kamut is an amazing example of the advantages offered by rediscovering pure wheat, excluding hybrid varieties. It has a protein content up to 40% higher than traditional wheat, is extremely rich in vitamins and amino-acids, easily digested gluten. At Felicetti they use only the best varieties of kamut for our products, transformed by their special processing methods for a simply pure result.
This long shape’s elliptical section is voluptuously enveloped by seafood sauces, but also knows how to welcome earthier flavors, yet always preserving the sweet expressiveness of this wheat. Linguine make for a joyful and elegant banquet.
