Product Description
Additional Information
Winemaker
As part of the Jackson Family portfolio, Capensis has since 2013 been producing exceptionally high quality, terroir-driven Chardonnay from some of the highest-elevation vineyards in the Western Cape of South Africa. The 2015 is cool and elegant on the nose with wafts of Meyer lemon, tangy green apple and subtle toasty oak aromas. The palate is pure and crystalline with expressive notes of spiced pear and lemon, a delicate textural richness and a long, saline-tinged finish. The wine is produced 100% Chardonnay in Western Cape, South Africa. It has a rich nose of papaya, mangoes, butterscotch, banoffee pie, dried cloves and vanilla. The palate is fresh with citrus and saline with luscious texture and a balanced bright acidity.

Capensis
Južnoafriški zahodni Cape se lahko imenuje najstarejša vinska regija Novega sveta, kot tudi najnovejša vinska regija starega sveta. Vinska klet Capensis spretno združuje ta dva vidika - najstarejše in najnovejše - v Western Cape.
